万年山（はねやま） 2011.11.20 [山]
1. 山頂にかかる雲が切れはじめた！
今回も、晩秋の山歩きに行ってきました。２重メサ（２段のテーブルマウンテン）で有名な、玖珠町の万年山です。下段を下万年、上段（山頂部）を上万年と呼ぶようです。
前日に見た天気予報では快晴のはずでしたが、別府から湯布院まで高速道路を走行中に雨に降られ、九重ICで降りたころは雨は止んでいましたが、雲が低く垂れこめています。
黒猪鹿生活改善センターに車を置き、九州自然歩道を歩いていきます。今にも雨が降りそうな空模様なので、いまひとつ気分は盛り上がりません。たんたんと、舗装された林道を歩いていきます。
下万年を登り切ったころから、雲が薄くなって、青空がちらりと見えてきました。
ここまでずっと林道歩きでしたが、上段のテーブル（上万年）への道は山登りらしい急登になります。これを登りきると、熊笹に覆われた草原が広がっています。
2. 上万年は一面の笹やぶ
山頂までの道程は平坦ですが、熊笹を掻き分け歩いているうちに、露でズボンがぐっしょり濡れてしまいました。
3. 万年山の山頂
山頂に到着！冬の青空が広がっています。
4. 由布岳もよく見える
展望は良いのですが、あまり面白みはない景色です。
風が強いので苦労しつつ、アルコールストーブでお湯を沸かし、昼食にします。
下山は別ルートにしようかと考えましたが、地形図を忘れたので（GPSはあるが）来た道を戻ることにします。
5. 上万年の柱状節理
途中の林道を寄り道して、柱状節理を下のほうを歩いてみます。そのまま歩いて登山口まで戻れないかな、と歩き続けました。が、そのまま進むと相当な遠回りになることに気付き、GPS頼りに植林地の中をショートカットして、元のルートに戻りました。
6. 山麓のくぬぎの紅葉
九州自然歩道をテクテク歩いて戻ります。
7. 棚田の風景。手前の山は下万年、左奥が山頂（上万年）。
往路は天気が良くなかったので気付きませんでしたが、長閑な棚田の風景には癒される感じがしました。
8. 万年山の遠景
帰りは高速道路の料金をケチって下道をはしりました。小国町から、特徴のある万年山の山容が良く輪かりました。

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and all. Nevertheless think of if you added some great visuals or videos to give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this blog could undeniably be one of the most beneficial in its field. Awesome blog!

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My site has a lot of exclusive content I've either authored myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any solutions to help reduce content from being ripped off? I'd really appreciate it.
